The park is located in the heart of central New Jersey — in the townships of Edison and Woodbridge — within Middlesex  County.

Highway Access

• Raritan Center is located immediately adjacent to Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95), at the crossroads of Interstate 287/440, the Garden State Parkway, and US Routes 1 and 9.
   
• Commuter bus service to Raritan Center is provided by New Jersey Transit.
   

Railroad Access

• Passenger rail service is provided by New Jersey Transit and Amtrak, with five train stations in the nearby area: Edison, Metropark, Metuchen, Perth Amboy, and Woodbridge.
   
• Freight rail service to Raritan Center is provided by CSX, Conrail, Norfolk Southern, and Raritan Central Railway.
   

Seaport Access

• Port Newark Marine Terminal is within 20 miles of Raritan Center via the New Jersey Turnpike.
   
• Port Raritan is an on-site, deep-water port under development on the Raritan River. Upon completion, a 2,000-foot long pier will facilitate freight transfers between short sea ships, barges, railroad cars, and trucks.
   

Airport Access

• Newark Liberty International Airport is within 20 miles of Raritan Center via the New Jersey Turnpike.
   

Foreign Trade Zone Benefits

• Companies that import goods or raw materials to buildings owned by Federal Business Centers in Raritan Center can (a) defer import tariffs on the goods until such time as finished products are sold within the United States and (b) avoid import tariffs altogether on finished goods that are re-exported to countries outside of the United States.
